Card #1   Maeve “Honor the cycles of your body, energy levels and emotions.”

Meave is Celtic goddess that celebrates and honors her divine feminine. She is not afraid to be in touch with her sexuality. She is also rules the pains that are related to our feminine cycles as those of our menses and birthing. Call upon her when you are in need to alleviated pain caused due to our femininity. Maeve brings the message that this week you need to pay attention to the cycles going on around you and within you. Our lives are filled with cycles some are positive and some are negative. Take this time to become aware of them and evaluate if we need to make some changes or make some course correction. If you see a negative pattern repeating analyze the circumstances around it and see if there is a lesson that you might have overlooked. Only then will you be able to release and break the pattern. As you know winter is almost here and we must prepare, think and plan how you are going to take care of your spirit, mind and soul through this time. Honor Maeve by meditating on a new cycle that you have learned or identified and ask for her guidance on how you can incorporate this new found knowledge in your life.

Card #2 – Damara, Guiding Children – “You are good at helping, counseling and healing children. Use your skills to help children now.”

Damara is a fertility Celtic goddess whose name means gentle. She helps to bring peace and harmony to families and within households. This week we have Thanksgiving and it is a time in which families get together. If possible during this week reach out to those children in your life. Whether they are your own children or nieces, nephews, neighborhood children but be there for them. Offer good guidance, support and examples. Take the time to spend quality time with them. In our society we have lost the sense of the village raises the child and so many times the opinions or guidance of other are not welcomed (so keep that in mind) but we can change this mentality with time. Know that the love, understanding, protection that you give to the children that are in your life will be invaluable to them as they grow up and later recall on those memories. Be an agent for positive change in the life of a child after all they are our future, so invest in them the most valuable commodity which is love.  You can honor her placing fresh flowers on your altar.

Card #3 Kuan Yin, Compassion – “Release judgments about yourself and others, and focus on the love and light that is within everyone”

Kuan Yin is an Asian Goddess who hears all prayers and is the essence of purity, nurturing love and gentle power. She is also known to bring fertility, health and magical insight to anyone who asks. It is her sacred duty to encourage enlightenment and ease our suffering. She facilitates us to feel compassion towards ourselves and others. She is also the protector of women and children. Her symbols are the lotus, rice, black tea and the rainbow. Kuan Yin brings the message that this week you need to love yourself! Be good to yourself! Cut yourself some slack. Forgive yourself and move forward from a negative experience or bad decision made. Accept all of you just the way you are. You cannot change the past but you can make better choices and that is a good place to start. Leave the past behind and live the present to its fullest. See all the abilities and possibilities that this moment holds to make a change for the better. It is never too late to start again. To honor her you can burn some lotus incense, you can place some sweet cakes, fresh fruits, flowers, rice or black tea on your scared space.

It’s Venus Day! All you have to do to participate is to select a card from the Goddess Guidance Oracle Card deck pictured below and then read below for the message that Goddess holds for you. Feel free to comment, enjoy!

Once again common theme among the cards! This theme is of abundance and to trust that everything is the way it should and that everything that is occurring is for highest good. That in spite of the upcoming changes and challenges our needs will be met and we will grow and flourish! It is the perfect message for this is the time of harvest where food is plentiful and there is abundance abound.

It was said that she gave labor pains to a whole army which was trying to invade her lands and ceased battling while on her moon. Call upon her when you are in need to alleviated pain caused due to our femininity. Maeve brings the message to we need to accept and learn how to work with our cycles. Cycles are found everywhere we look. We see them in nature, we see them in our bodies and we also see it in our emotional and mental states. We just have to be aware of them and then learn to harness the power that comes from them. For me I am very well in tuned with the Earth’s and the Moon’s cycles, I used them to aid in my works. Right now Mother Earth is going from the cycle of growth to the cycle of harvest and soon enough we will find ourselves in the cycle of the dormancy of Winter. We must prepare like our ancestors did. We must make sure that not only our physical needs are met but that our spiritual mental and emotional ones are too. How are you planning to keep that connection with Nature during the winter months? Due to this disconnection is why a lot of people suffer from cabin fever or seasonal depression. This is the time to plan for the months ahead. Cleanse your home and do a cord cutting ceremony so that you may be clear and fresh to really full appreciate and be present during the this cycle and the next. Honor Maeve by meditating on a new cycle that you have learned or identified and ask for her guidance on how you can incorporate this new-found knowledge in your life.

Card #2 Lakshmi “Stop worrying. Everything is going to be fine.”

Lakshmi is a beautiful and benevolent Hindu goddess who brings abundance. She is connected to the element of water, the Lotus flower and elephants. Her connection to water represents her absolute faith in fertility and abundance that is available to all. She works directly with Ganesh which is a Hindu god known to be the remover of obstacles. With him by her side there is nothing they cannot overcome, they are the perfect combination to help you release fear and accept abundance. Her message is to let you know that your needs will always be met and you do not have to fear what comes ahead. Take time to center yourself and really understand and accept this truth. Everything will be fine. Let go of the fears and in its place have positive thoughts and intentions for your life and situation. If you like to connect with her in a deeper level you can visit a body of water and release a lotus flower and call upon her gifts. You can acquire a lotus flower or an elephant and place it in water and keep in your altar or just a simple meditation to connect with her will suffice.

Card #3 Sedna “You are supplied today and all of your tomorrows.”

Sedna is an Inuit Eskimo and Alaskan goddess of the Sea who provides sustenance for the body and the soul. She is intimately connected to the inhabitants of the oceans given the fact that they are part of her. The myth has it that she lost the tips of her fingers in a boating accident and they became the whales, seals and other seas creatures. She is another goddess of abundance. Her message again is to have trust and know that your needs will always be met. Live in the moment and do not worry about the future. With proper planning you will have more than enough for you, your family and friends. This is the time to share with others the bounty. J You can honor Sedna by visiting the ocean and leaving an offering or by just being mindful about the ocean related things that you may buy. Make sure that they were mindfully harvested or you can donate to one of the many organizations that are currently working to save and restore our oceans.
