This spread was drawn with the thought of receiving a special message for Beltane. So relax, kick off you shoes and enjoy the weather. During this weekend make some time for you. If you like to participate all you have to do is to select a card or cards from the Goddess Guidance Oracle Card deck by Doreen Virtue that are pictured below and then scroll below to reveal the message the Goddess holds for you. The Goddess Under the Tea Cup is Mary Magdalene, Unconditional Love – “Love yourself, others and every situation – no matter what the outward appearance may be.”

Mary Magdalene is a strong Christian woman figure. She was known to be of ill repute though Jesus loved her even though. Some believe that Jesus admired her Unconditional love she had for him and others to the point in which he feel in love with her and married. She was by his side every step of the way. She is known to be kind, forgiving and humble. If this card is coming up for you it is a call to remind you that when you deal with the current issues in your life to so coming from your heart center. This is the time to be forgiving and understanding to call upon that unconditional love to help you through it. Call upon her to help you if this doesn’t come easy to you. As it never is when there is hurt present.  Ask her to ease your mind and help you connect to your heart and the unconditional love that resides within. Honor her during this time by lighting a blue candle on her honor or you can drink a rose quartz gem elixir to eases you during this time.

The Goddess Under the Clear Quartz Crystal is Damara, Guiding Children – “You are good at helping, counseling and healing children. Use your skills to help children now.”

Damara is a fertility Celtic goddess and her name means gentle. She helps to bring peace and harmony to families and households. We are now celebrating Beltane and there are many ways in which you can help children connect with Beltane energy. You can help them connect with their creative side and maybe help them discover that spark of passion for something that they will cherish and enjoy the rest of their lives. Maybe take the kids into nature and show them the beauty that lives there. Give them some paints and let’s paint what we see. Take the time to spend quality time with the children in your life. If you don’t have any then it is time to find a venue in which you can be a helpful influence to a child in need. Maybe there is a community program that can help you to do so. If working or dealing with children is not something that comes easily to you then ask Damara to help guide you. You can honor her placing fresh flowers on your altar.

The Goddess Inside the Treasure Box is Cordelia, Go Outside – “You have been indoors too long. Go Outside and get some fresh air.”

Oh my goodness isn’t it perfect for her to surface today of all days!  Cordelia is the Celtic fairy goddess which watches over the flora over the Spring and Summer months. She is associated with Beltane which is today! Kick off your shoes and go out in to nature. Connect with Cordelia and the fairy folk (just don’t eat anything they give you or you will be stuck in that realm jk) Enjoy the flowers that you meet in your path and rejoice under the trees and rays of the Sun. Connect with nature spirits and listen to see if there is anything you can do for them. Feel the cool grass beneath your feet and fill yourself with peace and love from our Mother Earth. You can honor Cordelia by releasing flowers in a body of water, or leave milk, honey or mead out for the fairies.

Goddess Guidance 08-01-14

Today is the Goddess Day and the first of the Harvest Festival is upon us! It it is only befitting that we look to her for guidance during this time of new beginnings. I used the Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue. Let’s see which Goddess comes forward to bring you guidance and support for this Harvest Season! In order to participate all you have to do is choose a card from the picture below then scroll down to see which card it is and the message it contained for you. Please feel free to comment below and share with me if you connected with any of the messages! Enjoy!

Card #1 Mary Magdalene

Mary Magdalene is a strong Christian woman figure. She was known to be a woman of ill repute. She was a witness to Jesus’s miracles. She was there for his death and later interacted with him in his resurrection. She was known to have a sweet energy, ever forgiving and humble. You can call upon her to help you to learn to forgive others. When she steps forward she is letting you know that you are not alone and she will ease your mind and feelings so that you do not allow what others may think of you to interfere with your well-being. She reminds you that the best way to handle this particular situation is to come from a place of love and understanding. Forgive others and yourself for the things that have happened or not happened. Honor her during this time by lighting a blue candle on her honor.

Card #2 Kali

Kali is a very appropriate Goddess to show up during this time as in the cycles of nature we are at the end of the growing period and starting the harvest season. Kali is a very powerful Hindu goddess of birth and death. She is the embodiment of Mother Nature. She cleanses away the old with fires and storms to make way for the new growth of life. She will push you beyond your comfort zone but the rewards are that you will be at the heights of your own potential. When she steps forward she is here to help you leave the things that no longer serve you behind and she will make room for those things that you want to come into your life. She is here to facilitate you to leave the past behind, cut and clear, to start anew. Take the time to connect with her transformative energies and she would be your best ally to do a cord cutting ceremony during this time of transition.

Card #3 Ishtar

Ishtar is a Babylonian goddess of the Divine Feminine. She is the representation of Venus, in all of her aspects of her divinity. She is the nurturer, the mother, she is sensual, fertile, she is the healer, the one who protects and gives wisdom. She comes forward to remind you to stand our ground. She gives you the confidence and strength to know where to set the boundaries. You can’t allow for others to take advantage of you and you should do things not out of guilt or obligation. Call upon her to help bring back into balance your love of servitude. It is good to give of one self but it is not good to give up on yourself or the things you want or desire. Be true to yourself and be assertive and don’t give more than what you can give.
