Get to know me!

I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I was very fortunate to come from a big family that loved and cared for its members very much. My grandmother was a faithful catholic woman who practiced the craft using her saints to aid her works. I learned from her very much as I grew up watching her smudge our homes, making spells and honoring those spirits which have aid us in our work (she wasn’t aware but she was practicing gypsy magick).  My Aunt Ana is the eldest child of my grandmother and she was also blessed with the gift and the love for the craft. She has been serving her community as a spiritualist and santera for the past 50 years. My aunt did much in encouraging my own thirst for spiritual knowledge and acceptance of my own gifts which I will always be very grateful for.

As I became an adult I was called strongly once again called to the path of my ancestors which I have now completely accepted and I am constantly growing. I solidified my position as a spiritual counselor on April 12, 2012 by becoming an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church. I have been trained in the ways of the shaman by the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and other world renown shamanic teachers like Sandra Ingerman. I also have trained as an energetic healer through the Golden Dawn as well as through shamanic workshops. My thirst for knowledge is never quenched as I am constantly reading books and taking workshops which help expand my knowledge base and understanding of the world around us. I am currently a member of the Tir na nÓg temple which we meet locally with like-minded spirits that are on their own spiritual paths. Finally on March 9th, 2014 I completed my priesthood training in an earth based tradition.

Dance has always been a very important part of my life. Growing up in the island there is a lot of dancing going on! I learned to dance all of the basic dances like Salsa and Merengue and I also learned to dance the folk dances of Bomba, Plena and Danza. My grandmother had a strong Spanish influence so there was a lot of listening to Boleros, Flamenco and Paso Doble. I always got such a pleasure at watching her dance with her fan and castañuelas. As a young adult I trained in Middle Eastern, Hula and Tahitian dance. I love to dance and now I get to incorporate it in my spiritual practices by allowing my soul to express itself through it. I love to share my knowledge of these dances and how you can incorporate them into your spiritual practice or making dance into a spiritual experience.

At this stage in my life I am ready to serve my community by offering my services as a spiritual counselor and shaman. I am also very interested in working with people who are going through the transition from this life to an energetic self. I practice divination using various methods like tarot and oracle cards, geomancy and shamanic divination. I love the craft, so crafting a simple protection spell or a spell to bring about a major change in your life is always met with great excitement and commitment. Healing is much-needed in our society whether it is mental, emotional or physical. In our everyday journeys we encounter experiences that at times can throw us off our centers and we need that energetic healing to assist us in finding once again that balance within. I would like to help ease your pain and find your center through the use energetic healing.

As an empath I am able to have a deeper understanding of your feelings. I have a good sense for people and situations. I am a daughter, a wife and a mother. I can relate to your everyday stresses, hopes and dreams. I have experienced financial hardships, loss of loved ones, a failed marriage and being the parent of a child that required specialized care at one point in her life. But I also have experienced in this life much love and happiness. I have learned and enriched my life through the experiences that have caused me pain in the past.

I am a mother of 4 wonderful children ranging in ages 13-3 years of age and have been happily married since 1999. I enjoy baking, dancing, hiking, swimming and making jewelry. My creative projects reflect my feminine side as well as my magickal and rich cultural influences. I have a gypsy soul as I enjoy travel and experiencing the everyday life of different cultures and different locations. I have had the pleasure of living in Puerto Rico, New York, New Jersey, California, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Illinois. I also have had the pleasure of visiting Mexico, Hawaii, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Anguilla. I have enjoyed and learned much from every place we have lived in and visited. The natural areas and the people I have met in my journey are so unique and beautiful I am grateful for the imprint they have left in my heart.

I am looking to learn more about James Kambos, and his books. And am getting only information about other people and other things. I have tried several ways just to learn more about James Kambos, and am presently almost, almost ready to just give up. Computers! UGH!

You know what Helga I have to agree with you. There is not a lot out there about this author. I tried doing a little research and I ended up with much of nothing! Sorry I do hope that you are able to find the information you are looking for! Many blessings to you!
