Thank you Beaver!

I would like to take this moment to say thank you in this ordinary world to Beaver! When Beaver came into my life I didn’t know that there would be new direction that my life was going to take, but all I did know, was that now, I had Beaver to share my journey with. I welcomed him in April 2013 and I was very intrigued about his presence. Anyone that knows me can tell you that the first thing that I would have done was to look him up in a resource book like Animal Speak or Animal Spirit Guides to research what are normal circumstances in which Beaver is called upon to help. This time around I felt no such compulsion. Instead I embarked in a total acceptance of his presence and I just wanted to establish a friendship with him.

Every time I journeyed it was so nice to see him there smiling and ready to be my wing man! We never spoke though he did have fun together. One thing I can tell you is that he really enjoys dancing. One memorable event was when he came into this reality to say hello and share a walk with us. My family and I went for a walk by the Fox River when my husband very excitedly said to the children “Look! There is a beaver swimming by us in the river!” I couldn’t  believe it! We have been there to many walks and we had never encountered one before, but on that day this wonderful young beaver decided to join us in our walk. It was so nice to connect with him in this reality.

I went about my days in contemplation and just living my life as a mother, as a wife and then a new realization came to me. I realized and accepted the fact that I wanted to help others. Every workshop taken, every book that I have read was preparing me to be able to be of service to others.  So in no time at all, I made my lists of things to do and things I need to get this new venture of the ground. Any moment that I had open and available I spent working on my new venture. I be honest I couldn’t believe how much time and energy it actually took, but what surprised me the most, was how much help and support I was given by my family and friends. I certainly could not have done it without them and specially without Beaver.

Now in retrospect I see how Beaver was the perfect power animal for me during this time (even though I didn’t know at the time, that I was going to start this new venture). I never felt overwhelmed with the task at hand and I never doubted that I would reach my goal. Looking back I see all those qualities in Beaver. He is steadfast and hardworking. He will get done what he needs to get done, no matter how many set backs he might encounter, he will just go ahead and continue on. He is a family man, he works hard but he always takes time out, to spend with his family in his lodge. My family is my number one priority, so he helped me keep that balance between my family, friends and work. He made it seamless for me. It didn’t feel like a task at all.  Some times I pictured him coming home to his family and telling them about his day.

So what have I learned? I learned that Beaver is who you want by your side when you have work or goals to achieve while making sure that your family and community does not get neglected. For the Beaver doesn’t give up in adversity because their work is truly about survival and he is a creature that is part of a great community. He will lend his determination and industrious nature to you, so you can see your task at hand completed. So hail and well met to Mr. Beaver for he will always be welcomed in my life and thank you for all the great insights and strength you have given me in the past few months. I am a lucky gal to have a friend like you!

Have you had Beaver in your life’s journey? How did he helped you? Feel free to share below I would love to know!

The Card of the Day is Solar Plexus Chakra!

Today it is a nice gray day out which is influencing me to be a little lazy! I have been working so hard in getting everything ready for the new school year that I have had very little time for myself. Today I have a list of errands that I need to run however I am feeling the desire of letting them wait just one more day! 🙂 So I sat at my desk with psychic deck at hand and asked my guides, guardians and the Universe to share with me a message that I should keep in mind. My intent was to draw one card and the card that I drew was the Solar Plexus Chakra card.

Image

For those who are not familiar with this Chakra it is located between the sternum and naval (I usually identify it where I feel my butterflies). It’s color is yellow in color and its Sanskrit name is “Manipura” which means “Lustrous Gem”. It is ruled by the element of fire and it’s ruling planets are Mercury, Mars and the Sun. The signs related are Leo, Aries and Gemini. Some stones that you can use to invigorate this Chakra are Rhodocrosite, Sunstone, Tiger’s Eye, Citrine and Calcite. The key words to this card is “I CAN” this Chakra rules your personal power and wisdom.

I know exactly why this card was my message of the day. As of September 1st  I am embarking on my journey of helping others and as a good air sign that I am, I tend to over think things. I always can come up with a reason on why I am not ready, though I feel a great urge (and push from my higher self)  to  help others. Many people have found my help useful and many have encourage me to go down this path but why, oh why do I keep questioning how capable I am? The reason is because I over think things. I keep thinking one more workshop, one more book… But the truth is that I am ready, I am ready to start getting the experience of helping others. After all what value does it have for me to acquire so much knowledge if I am not going to share it with others or allow others to benefit for it as well.

So this is what I have to say to the Universe! Watch out here I come! I am going to roll up my sleeves and help those that want or need my help. I am going to start acquiring the practical knowledge. I be honest, I am scared to embark on something so important to me. I am scared to put myself out there but how can I live my life and not do so? One of my first official steps was to get the support of my husband and family which was not difficult at all. My husband was the one who I attribute of re directing me back to my path. I remember him encouraging me to take a basic psychic class at Kindred Spirits. When he picked me up he said that I was glowing of happiness! and I was. It felt as if I had found once again something that I had lost. From there on I have just been growing more and more. The next big important step was to notify my Aunt Anna about my decision to walk this path. In my family in every generation there has been one that has been called to do the work and no one of my generation had claimed the path. So when I called her on the phone (she lives in NYC) and told her what my intentions were and the path which I have committed myself to walk, she was so very happy! I was beside myself to receive her blessing and acceptance. It meant the world to me to hear my aunt be so happy that of my generation, I was the lucky one to hold torch. She has always been an inspiration to me and others, and I am blessed to have her support. Now if my mom could only be so happy and open! She is a devote 7th Day Adventist and though she is accepting of the craft she has difficulty with accepting my different views and believes.

So what is this card telling me? It is telling me to be strong and to know that I CAN be of service to others! So what does message mean to you? In what aspect of your life does the I CAN attitude be applied to? What and how have you been doubting yourself? Are you judging yourself too harshly? Are you limiting yourself? I Say go forth! Follow your passion! Live the life you want and may you find happiness and fulfillment in it. If you want to share some of your “I CAN” moments with me, feel free to leave a comment!

Feeling crafty!

Today when I woke up I heard my magical essential oils calling my name! So I got my household to do’s out of the way and went happily downstairs to get my crafting done!

I got my work area organized, I pulled out my oils and vials and got my BoS. My Book of Shadows is where I keep all my valuable information about herbs, oils, stones that I own and my crafting recipes, now I am ready to go! The first blend that I worked on was a Divination Oil, sometimes when you are going to do a reading it is nice to dab your 3rd Eye with an oil that will enhance your performance by opening you more to receive the messages.

The way I craft in making my own blends is to first look for the qualities that I am looking for in the oils that I currently own (that way I don’t keep buying new ones 🙂 which my hubby is very thankful for. So this is the list of oils that I own that have the qualities that I was looking for:

  • 7 drops  Blood Orange – divination
  • 1 drop    Clove Oil – divination
  • 1 drop    Ginger – power
  • 2 drops  Rose – psychic power, love divination
  • 1 drop    Wormwood – psychic power, calling spirits
  • 3 drops  Sandalwood – protection, spirituality, tension reliever

Now I that I had my oils identified I let my creativity loose. I lined my oils in front of me and I started to craft away! I created my base oil from 3 different base oils, Almond for wisdom, grapeseed for mental powers and Sesame to open my 3rd Eye. I got about 1.5 ml of each then I blended them together.

I started with Blood Orange I placed 3 drops visualizing a successful connection, then I added the Clove Oil with the same intent but the smell was strong so one drop was more than enough! I added Ginger oil visualizing the mixture glowing with power. I added 2 drops of Rose Oil because it smells good but it also has 2 qualities that I wanted to tap in to, so I visualized both combined, me being psychically opened to messages specially when they are in regards t o love. Wormwood Oil has a very strong woodsy scent and though I wanted to call upon 2 qualities one drop was more than enough for me. I visualized being psychically opened and good helpful spirits coming to my aid. Then I added Sandalwood with the intent to call in protection during the reading, bring spirituality and relive any tension that may be present during the reading. So I mixed it and gave it a good smell and it wasn’t quite right so I felt that more blood Orange was needed so I added 4 more drops and then the scent was just right!

My intuition said to add some herbs to the Divination Oil which I chose Mugwort to add more psychic power and protection and Yarrow’s psychic powers and exorcism qualities (so no negative energies stick around). When I craft I like to have a balance of elemental forces and the act of divination alone is of air quality, I am an air sign so the oils and herbs that I chose were all a combination of the absent elements, fire, water and earth.

I repeated the same process one additional time as I crafted a Dream Oil. I love to sleep not only because my body needs to get a good rest but also because that is a time in which I am able to connect with spirit and even visit other worlds. So I wanted to create an oil that I can wear prior to going to sleep that will aid me in my nocturnal journeys! However you don’t want to journey every night, then you won’t be getting enough rest.

Here is my recipe in case you want to try it out for yourself.

Prophetic Dream Oil

  • Almond Base
  • 3 drops of Jasmine – prophetic dreams
  • 1 drop of Rose Oil – stress and tension reliever
  • 4 drops of Lavender – prophetic dreams
  • 1 drop of Rosemary – to drive away nightmares
  • Pinch of Mugwort – prophetic dreams, psychic powers and astral projection
  • Pinch of Vervain – protection, sleep and peace
  • Bud of Jasmine – prophetic dreams
  • Pinch of Angelica – Prophetic dreams, protection and visions

Remember when you craft your oil blends to visualize which quality you want to call upon.

Well I have to go and get dinner done. I hope you have enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it! Let me know if you made these oils and how they have worked for you!

Blessed Be )O(
